Historic Flat Conversion

Within a central Edinburgh location, and with the existing property requiring extensive renovation, our client wanted to reinstate the original character of the property and maximise the opportunities within the tenement flat to incorporate a second bedroom.

Historic flat conversion, central Edinburgh — original character reinstated with new open kitchen

Three existing underutilised cupboards were transformed to create a modern kitchen with a large opening. This connects the space to the main living area through an opening which was treated with architraves to match the original timber mouldings present within the flat, enhancing the character of the property.
